Auction for the Clyde group
Thank you to all those who bid on our auction items. We're happy to announce that the football was bought by Eileen Meek from Kilmarnock for £67 and the tour of the Celtic Park by Anthony Boon from North Lanarkshire for £21. Thank you to both buyers!
Live in Scotland? Want to help support children and young people with IBD and their families? We need you! Crohn's and Colitis UK are setting up a Smilie's Network in Scotland and we need people to help arrange activities for children and their families to give them an opportunity to meet up together and to develop informal mutual support. Clyde Group AGM

We also hope to have Mr. Andrew Renwick, our medical advisor, joining us for our question and answer panel at the end of the meeting.

All families with a child who has Crohn's or colitis are welcome. Crohn's and Colitis UK will provide free entry to Discovery Point. Lunch will provided on the day, however, as we are unable to cater for all dietary needs you are welcome to bring your own. Talks and presentations from Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologists Dr Richard Hansen & Dr Bissett along with a Specialist IBD Dietician,Nurse and Psychologist Supervised activities will be provided for the children in the afternoon to allow parents to hear the presentations and ask questions. Teenager's breakout room!

Challenge Scotland Walk, Edinburgh
When: Sunday 24th June 2012 Where: Holyrood Park, Edinburgh The Crohn's and Colitis UK Edinburgh Group will be manning a stand at the event - please come along to find out more about us and how you can get involved.
If you want to take part in the walk, go to the Challenge Scotland website to find out how you can enter. Use the walk to raise money for your favourite charity or just walk for fun. Whether you do it on your own, with family, friends or colleagues, it'll be a great day out for all.

Westminster Hall Debate on IBD and Employment
Encouraged by Crohn's and Colitis UK, Chris Evans, MP for Islwyn,secured a Westminster Hall Debate on 31st January on IBD and Employment.
We are pleased to announce that the Crohn's and Colitis UK Clyde Group has two new medical advisors - Dr David Watts, Consultant Gastroenterologist at Forth Valley Royal andMr Andrew Renwick, Surgeon, Royal Alexandra Hospital
