Welcome to the Crohn's and Colitis UK Edinburgh area group website The Crohn's and Colitis UK Edinburgh area group is situated in Edinburgh and covers Edinburgh and the Lothians. The group is organised by a small team of volunteers and we hold a number of meetings throughout the year. These meetings involve the discussion of the maintenance and running of the group, as well as the planning of events, such as ceilidhs or medical meetings, as well as fundraising. If you are interested in joining the organising team, or have any ideas for fundraising /social events, either click on the 'Contact Us' link on the left hand side of this page, email us at edinburgh@groups.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk or phone our local number 0845 434 8508. Meetings are open to IBD sufferers, and other family members are also welcome – the next meeting will be advertised on this website. If you are attending your first meeting please do introduce yourself to one of the organising team so we can introduce to other members of the group. If you are a Crohn's and Colitis UK member we will send you a copy of our group newsletter that comes out about three times each year.
