Crohn's and Colitis UK (NACC) Merchandise now available online
Visit the shop March 2012 A news letter will be produced and sent out to all members in May. Please look out for this as it will contain news about future events including quiz night, theatre visit and anoth awareness day at Queens. Wednesday 16th May Queens Awareness Day - We will be in the foyer of Queens Hospitalbetween 10 am and 2pmhanding out leaflets and information to all IBDsufferers. If you or any fellowsufferers would like to come along and pick upsome leaflets or information thenwe look forward to seeing you. Thursday 20th SeptemberMedical Meeting - We are organising a medical talk on the subject of treatments used in IBD. More information will follow in the next news letter.

Our group covers an area from Ilford to Basildon and from Chelmsford to the River Thames and we have approximately 500 members.
The South Essex Group has completed its transformation from a formal chaired group to a new style Co-ordinated Group.
The new team was introduced on the 22nd March 2010 at a meeting which was facilitated by Flo Brookes from Head Office. We have had a great couple of years and our main activites have included:-- Numerous member newsletters, Fetes and Fundraising days, Hospital Awareness Days, Quiz nights, Charity Evenings with entertainment, medical meetings and much more!
We also work closely with the IBD group based at Basildon Hospital - they meet at Basildon hospital on the 3rd Tuesday of each month - see diary page. Working with Steve Bonnington and his this team brings increased awareness of the diseases and helps to increase the support we are able to provide to sufferers, family and friends in this area.
