A year all about you.....

Hello fellow members! I hope you are intrigued to find out what your local group are planning because this year, so much will be going on! See below on the sorts of things your group are sorting for you!


- Educational meetings: If you haven't been to one before, do not miss out on this one! IBD is an on-going condition and its important to tune in every now and then on different aspects to help with every day life! We are planning the next educational meeting for just before summer on a topic that is on everyone's minds! But for now the topic is top secret and you will find out soon....... keep watching the website for further details in March!


- Young Adults informal sessions: We are really dedicated to focusing on young adults this year, in line with NACC's plans, and we have some very important dates for any young adult's diary! Its hard for anyone newly diagnoised with IBD, but its particuarly harder for those who are younger and have so many pressures in everyday life to act 'normal'. We are organising some very important informal sessions to open the floor up to the young adults and let them get to know one another in a friendly and welcoming atmopshere - watch out to find out more!


- Fundraising activities: We have quite a few ideas in motion on this!


- Newsletters: please look out for these as these will inform you on things coming up in the next few weeks!


This year will be fun and we hope that you will get involved! If you ever have an idea or two, please let us know!

As the North Hampshire and West Surrey Crohn's and Colitis  UK organising team, our aims are to raise awareness, put on both informative and fundraising events and to offer support to people locally who are affected by IBD. 
 
Unfortunately, this year so far several members of the team have had to step down or limit their involement in the group due to illness and personal circumstances. We would love to build a strong team to be able to deliver better support but we desperately need more people to volunteer in the organising team!
