MORE ABOUT THE GROUP

Our group covers a wide area served by Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge,Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon,  Newmarket Hospital and West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds.  Our members come from as far west as Sandy, Bedfordshire,  as far east as Stowmarket, Suffolk, as far south as the north of Essex and as far north as Peterborough.  If you suffer, or are a parent or supporter of someone who suffers from Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis and live in these areas this is the group for you - WELCOME!

For more information about how NACC Groups can help you please go to our About NACC Groups link at the top of this page.  Each of our hospitals have specialist IBD nurses whose helpline numbers are detailed in our "Get in touch" section further down this page

We hold regular meetings at each of the hospitals for members to come along and hear from our medical professionals about current treatments, research and help available, as well as to have the opportunity to meet other sufferers. We also publish a quarterly newsletter and get involved in various fundraising and awareness raising events.

We ALWAYS welcome new members and love to see new faces at our meetings so please do come along and join us and find out more about our Group and how we can help and support you.

We do appreciate that the nature of IBD prevents those who would like to travel to meetings from doing so. For that reason we hope to be able to use our website and newsletter as more convenient means of communication.  We will always reply to emails and requests for information so do please get in touch.
