The South Essex Group has completed its transformation from a formal chaired group to a new style Co-ordinated Group.
The new team was introduced on the 22nd March 2010 at a meeting which was facilitated by Flo Brookes from Head Office. We have had a great couple of years and our main activites have included:-- Numerous member newsletters, Fetes and Fundraising days, Hospital Awareness Days, Quiz nights, Charity Evenings with entertainment, medical meetings and much more!
We also work closely with the IBD group based at Basildon Hospital - they meet at Basildon hospital on the 3rd Tuesday of each month - see diary page. Working with Steve Bonnington and his this team brings increased awareness of the diseases and helps to increase the support we are able to provide to sufferers, family and friends in this area. Please email us if you need any further information.
