- Action plans to be drawn up for patient medication and care - greater self management.
- Frequency of colonoscopies for under and over 70 year olds and the use of sedation and pain killers during the procedure.
- Preferences of Fleet or Picolax prior to colonoscopies. Is there a preference?
- Removal of polyps, the fear of bowel cancer and the timescales for possible development of bowel cancer.
- Foecal transplant.
- Stoma reversal in Crohns disease.

of information leaflets and booklets, some of which look at employment, insurance and benefits. Two very useful ones are: Employment and IBD: A guide for employees IBD and Insurance. For more information, either call Crohn's and Colitis UK Information service on 08451 302 233 or go to the NACC website info@CrohnsAndColitis.org.uk
IBD and Water Meters
Water metering can mean
increased costs for those of
us with IBD, especially during
a flare-up.
South West Water has a tariff
called Watersure.
You need to be in receipt of a means tested benefit or tax credit (including child tax credit).
If you have a meter and use a
lot of water it may be worth
checking out.
