Welcome to the Worcester Group websiteWe exist to provide help, support and information related to Inflammatory Bowel Disease for local sufferers, their families and their friends. We appreciate IBD can lead to a sense oif loneliness, especially when you have been recently diagnosed. At our events we aim to encourage an empathy that results from meeting and talking with other sufferers.
We are a friendly informal group and have been in existance for over 12 years, now serving an area covering most of Worcestershire. The above picture is of our 10th aniversary gathering. Beyond the significant effort that went into sustaining the Worcester Group, as well as fundraising, in 2009 we also managed to increase our awareness Activities. This year we plan to focus on the needs of families with young sufferers and to extent our Awareness work over a wider area.
