Survey: What matters about the hospital environment?

Whatis important about being treated in hospital?

The Department of Health is establishing a new system of patient-led inspections ofthe hospital environment, as announced by the Prime Minister in January. In order to develop the questions to ask the patients and their carers, it is important to find out what’s important and really matters to them about the hospital environment.

Here is an opportunity for you to contribute to this.  You are invited to take part in this survey if:

· You have experience of being treated in hospital in the last couple of years, and/or

· You are able to represent a patient or group of patients

HOW IS THE GROUP ORGANISED

The Group is organised by a team local NACC volunteers, who regular hold meetings throughout the year.  Meetings are open to members, non-members family and friends are also very welcome. The meetings are designed to allow IBD/UC patients and their families to talk to others in a similar situation and to provide education about IBD and its effects.  The meetings are informal - so if you are interested in getting involved check our diary of events for the next meeting.
