This year's lecture on IBD has been confirmed as 6pm on Wednesday 18th April. Venue - Post Grad Centre, Maidstone Hospital. Dr Bijay Baburajan, who is the consultant gastroenterologist at Maidstone, will give the talk. The title of the lecture is 'New Understanding in IBD'. The lecture will feature updating us on the diseases, what drives them and how new understanding is helping treatments and prevention in the future. Dr Baburajan will also spend some time the local IBD service and how changes to the health service will influence how the local service works. There will also be a Question & Answer session at the end of the presentation. There is a hearing loop facility at the Post Grad centre, so please ask on arrival if required. The final news about the lecture is that there is free food provided! Food will be available from 6pm and the lecture will start at 6.30. We would really like to see as many members as possible attend, as we feel this will be a highly informative and interesting lecture.
